2026 v.1.1 Patch notes
Asking Claude to fix the world... literally.
Current status is far from optimal it seems, but Claude seems eager to help
World 2026 v1.1 Patch Notes (Proposed)
Critical Hotfixes
🔴 Conflict Resolution Module
- Reverted US_FOREIGN_POLICY.military_action_threshold to require actual diplomatic cooldown period
- Fixed bug where NEGOTIATE_FIRST flag was being ignored
- Patched Venezuela and Iran event handlers to route through UN_SECURITY_COUNCIL before MILITARY_STRIKE
🔴 Civil Unrest Handler
- Increased PROTEST_RESPONSE.proportionality value from 0.2 to 0.8
- Deprecated INTERNET_BLACKOUT as valid response to protests - causes memory leaks in public trust
- Added null check before ICE_AGENT.use_lethal_force() - should not fire on civilians
Balance Changes
💰 Economy.cfg
- Buffed WEALTH_DISTRIBUTION algorithm - currently too weighted toward top 0.1%
- Reduced INFLATION.persistence modifier
- Fixed rounding error where WORKER_WAGES hasn't scaled with PRODUCTIVITY since ~1980
🌡️ Climate.sys
- This module has been flagged as critical since v2015. Still awaiting stakeholder approval for fixes
- Recommend: Actually implement PARIS_AGREEMENT.commitments[] instead of just logging them
AI & Tech Governance
- Added CONSENT_REQUIRED flag to image generation models (looking at you, Grok)
- Proposed: Global AI_ETHICS_STANDARDS interface - currently each region running incompatible implementations
Known Issues (Won't Fix This Patch)
- HUMAN.ego still overriding HUMAN.empathy in most leader instances
- Memory leak in HISTORICAL_LESSONS_LEARNED - keeps getting garbage collected
Rollback Request (will probably be denied, but anyways)
- Can we just restore from the backup before someone enabled CHAOS_MODE?
Note: Patch deployment blocked pending consensus from 195 sysadmins who can't agree on anything.
