Argentina Comic Con 2025

This was my second time returning to convention grounds after a long hiatus in 2018, back in pre-pandemic times.

It was quite a bit of time since the last time I went to a convention, but this was mostly an excuse to accompany a friend that needed support, and have some fun while I was at it.

When I got back home and started editing, I couldn't decide if I would go with a color or b&w aesthetic.

Some of the portraits looked stronger in color, others looked better on simulated film presets... so, why not both?

It was probably the sweltering, hellish heat of that day, but I found out after developing the roll of the Canon A-1 that most of the frames had light artifacts and other defects due to a de-synced shutter curtain, a symptom of the infamous "Canon squeal" that many A-series cameras suffer from.

The new features in Lightroom were really handy in saving some of the most problematic frames.
